IYWAC - Dinghy Sailing

The combination of highly experienced instructors, safe but responsive dinghies and a variety of sailing waters  means that we are ideally equipped to offer excellent courses and activities for all levels of experience. The Centre has a fleet of over twenty sailing dinghies (more than half of the fleet are less than five years old). This fleet includes Wayfarers, 420s, RS Fevas, Laser Picos and Escape Mangos. Check our website for a full list of equipment available. As well as organising RYA Courses, we also run a number of popular activities including expeditions, weekend fun sessions and our new Saturday Sailing Club. Once you have learned to sail adults and young people can join the Saturday Club, for full details please contact Rob at the Centre. RYA Young Sailors Scheme All of our youth sailing courses are based upon the syllabi contained in the

RYA Young Sailors Scheme.
This scheme gives a clear progression of training for all young people. There are four start sailing stages followed by short advanced modules called; "Sailing With Spinnakers", "Start Racing", "Daysailing", "Seamanship Skills", and "Performance Sailing".
